The USAID Mission in Brazil is seeking concept papers from qualified U. S. and non-U.S., non-profit or for-profit Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to create new partnerships to support USAID Brazil Mission priorities in Economic Growth and Investing in People through initiatives in the following


areas:
1) Corporate Social Responsibility; 2) Disaster Assistance; 3) Energy – Clean Energy and Energy Efficiency; 4) Environment – Biodiversity; 5) Health – HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis.

A Gilesgate-based shop and community facility, Hexham’s Core Music, launches a separate workshop where up to six people will be trained how to repair guitars and make ukuleles. The European Social Fund grant supported the project and has secured funds through the County Durham Communication Foundation to equip the workshop in Burn Lane.
