Inclusion of People with Disabilities

USAID Paraguay aims to increase access and participation of People with Disabilities (PwD).

Activities under this program should contribute towards USAID ParaguayÂ’s strategic goal of a more prosperous, well governed democracy in Paraguay.

One of the intermediate results under this proposed

strategy addresses increased employment and business opportunities for vulnerable populations.

The purpose of this request for concept papers is to identify local organizations that eventually may be endorsed by the USAID/Paraguay Mission for the worldwide competition process.

A Gilesgate-based shop and community facility, Hexham’s Core Music, launches a separate workshop where up to six people will be trained how to repair guitars and make ukuleles. The European Social Fund grant supported the project and has secured funds through the County Durham Communication Foundation to equip the workshop in Burn Lane.
