Call for PPP proposals related to USAID/Senegal's Feed the Future strategy

This program is authorized in accordance with Part 1 of the Foreign Assistance act of 1961, as amended.

Through this Addendum to the FY 2013 Global Development Alliance (GDA) Annual Program Statement (APS) No.APS-OAA-13-000003 (the GDA APS), USAID/Senegal is making a special call for the submission

credit:


of Concept Papers for specific activities related to the Mission’s Feed the Future (FTF) goals:
to sustainably reduce poverty and hunger, to improve equitable growth in the agricultural sector, and to improve the nutritional status of the Senegalese people.

The priority emphasis under this Addendum is on agriculture driven economic growth including productivity increases through a value chain approach.

Applicants should ensure that proposals are aligned with USAID/Senegal’s Feed the Future priorities, in particular focusing on irrigated rice in the North, rain-fed rice in the South, maize, and/or millet as described in the Senegal FY 2010 Implementation Plan and Senegal FY 2011-2015 Multi-Year Strategy:
