The Department of State's Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons announces an open competition for funding of projects to provide technical assistance to governments in sub-Saharan Africa to improve their capacity to combat trafficking in persons.

will be granted in the areas of legislative assistance, victim-centered criminal justice training and task forces, and victim protection.
Methods of technical assistance to build capacity may include, but are not limited to, training, legislative workshops, and mentoring.
