Notice of Intent to Award

The purpose of this project is to provide monitoring to achieve goals of conservation measures identified within the Lower Colorado River Multi-Species Habitat Conservation Program (LCR MSCP HCP).

The LCR MSCP HCP is a multi-stakeholder federal and non-federal partnership responding to the need

to balance the use of lower Colorado River water resources and the conservation of native species and their habitats in compliance with the Endangered Species Act.

This program works toward the recovery of listed species through habitat and species conservation and reduces the likelihood of additional species listings under the Endangered Species Act.

This project specifically targets conservation measures that address the data gaps necessary to implement the conservation needs for the western red bat, western yellow bat, pale Townsend’s big-eared bat, and California leaf-nosed bat.
