The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a Grant Agreement to Nevada Tahoe Conservation District under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 1 5. 543, Public Law 108-7, Consolidated Appropriations Resolution, 2003, Water and Resolution and Public Law 85-624,

Fish and wildlife Coordination Act, as amended, 16 U.S.C., Section661 et seq., of 1956 as amended and delegated by the Department of the Interior Manual 255 DM 1. Estimated total amount of agreement is $522,96 6. 00 with the Recipient providing a total of $320,02 9. 0 0. Reclamation is providing $320,02 9. 00 in Fiscal Year 201 6. The purpose of this project is to restore a portion of Rosewood Creek that is on public property and travels to a public lake, Lake Tahoe, with a total maximum daily load (TMDL).
Nevada Tahoe Conservation District also proposes to monitor the success of the Phase 1 and Phase 2 restoration efforts to inform future public and private projects and regulatory actions.
The improvement of Rosewood Creek and Lake Tahoe benefits the general public as both of these resources are accessible and regularly used by the public for water supply, recreation, transportation, and aesthetic enjoyment.
