Study of Tunisian Populations Susceptible to Violent Extremism

The program goal is to ensure reliable information on VE-susceptible populations feed into the discourse Tunisian policy makers have on CVE policies, programs, and approaches.

To this end, it will support a rigorous, in-depth study (focus groups/interviews) of VE-susceptible populations in Tunisia

such as former fighters, families or friends of persons who have joined VEOs, and self-identified persons who have been sympathetic to VE.

The project will produce reliable information on VE-susceptible populations; disseminate findings to policymakers, civil society, and at-risk communities; and allow Tunisian communities to develop recommendations based on findings to strengthen resilience to VE.
