Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP)

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) administers the Department of Defense (DoD) Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP).

The purpose of the PTAP is to generate employment and to improve the general economy by assisting business firms in obtaining and performing under federal, state, and

credit:


local government contracts.

The PTAP is carried out by Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs), which are established by eligible entities through Cooperative Agreements with DLA.

“Eligible Entity” is defined in 10 U.S.C.
