U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation 2017

U. S. Mission Nigeria is pleased to announce the call for proposals for the 2017 U. S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) 2017 Small Grants Competition.

The AFCP was established in 2001 in collaboration with the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs

(ECA) to assist countries in preserving their cultural heritage.

You are invited to submit proposals for possible funding under this initiative.

The deadline for receipt of proposals is January 15, 201 7. U. S. Mission Nigeria looks forward to receiving strong proposals in support of efforts to preserve Nigerian cultural heritage for future generations.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Reputable and accountable non-commercial entities, such as non-governmental organizations, museums, ministries of culture, or similar institutions and organizations that are able to demonstrate that they have the requisite experience and capacity to manage projects to preserve cultural heritage.

Embassies will vet applicants for eligibility, suitability, and reputable performance in cultural preservation or similar activities.
