ETA is providing state workforce agencies with Fiscal Year 2018 allotments to support assistance to workers who have been adversely affected by foreign trade.
Under section 239 of the Trade Act, the states, as agents of the United States, provide benefits and services to eligible workers certified
credit:
to receive TAA Program benefits.
The Trade Act Title II, Chapter 2, established the Trade Adjustment Assistance for Workers (TAA), Alternative Trade Adjustment Assistance (ATAA), and Reemployment Trade Adjustment Assistance (RTAA) programs.
These programs, collectively referred to as the Trade Adjustment Assistance Program (TAA Program).
Funding opportunity number ETA-TEGL-NO-18-17 applies to the TAA program allotments.
Applicants should submit an electronically signed copy of an SF-424, Application for Federal Assistance, through Grants.gov, using amounts specified, in Attachment 1 of TEGL No.
18-1 7. ETA will award the FY 2018 TAA funds once they are available for obligation and as SF-424s are received.
