Assessment of Grasslands and Wetlands in the Prairie Pothole Region

This project will take place in the prairie pothole region of Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota in collaboration with North Dakota State University (NDSU).

The purpose is to improve the science behind administering Service lands, especially for reducing non-native plants.

We will evaluate

wetlands and grasslands to frame the problem of non-native plants and then develop treatment options.
