The Border Enforcement Grant program is a Federal discretionary grant program focused on reducing crashes, injuries, and fatalities involving commercial motor vehicles by ensuring that motor carriers and drivers operating in foreign commerce are in compliance with U. S. CMV safety standards and regulations,
