The Commercial Vehicle Information Systemsand Networks grant program provides fundingfor States to deploy, operate, and maintainelements of their CVISN programs, includingcommercial vehicle, commercial driver, and carrier-specific information systems and networks.

The FMCSA may award CVISN funds

credit:


toagencies of States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, and the U. S. Virgin Islands that are designated as the leadagency in the State's CVISN Program Plan and Top-Level Design (PP/TLD).

Individuals and businesses are not eligible to apply.
