recreational opportunities, and critical habitats within managed and natural areas including National Parks, National Wildlife Refuges, Bureau of Land Management lands, and other protected and managed areas lands across the United States.Ultimately, this funding opportunity will advance scientific understanding of patterns and drivers of seasonal activity of organisms and will support management activities by developing new data products including forecasts of the activity of invasive species, vectors of disease, and nuisance organisms such as forest insect pests.

The opportunity includes building and maintaining collaborations with federal and other partners, but particularly Bureaus within DOI, that require science in land, water, species and habitat management to best supportmanagement decisions and activities.
