Head Start Replacement Grantee: Calhoun, Doddridge, Pleasants, Tyler and Wirt Counties, West Virginia
The Administration for Children and Families solicits applications from local public or private non-profit organizations, including faith-based organizations or local for-profit organizations in the community, that wish to compete for funds that are available to provide Head Start services to children
and families residing in Calhoun, Doddridge, Pleasants, Tyler and Wirt Counties, West Virginia.
The intent of this announcement is to provide for the continuation of service to the area served by the former grantee, Family Development, Inc.
Funds in the amount of $937,968 annually will be available to provide Head Start program services to eligible children and their families.
The former grantee was funded for a total enrollment of 152 children and families.
Interested applicants must call the OHS Operations Center at (866) 796-1591 to receive pre-application materials and additional information.

Eligibility is limited to local public or private non-profit organizations, including faith-based organizations or local for-profit organizations in the community to be served, that can provide Head Start services to children and families residing in Calhoun, Doddridge, Pleasants, Tyler and Wirt Counties, West Virginia.
Faith-based and community organuizations are eligible to apply under this announcement.
Individuals and foreign entities are not eligible for awards made under this announcement.
