TANF Program Integrity Innovation Grants

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Family Assistance (OFA) is announcing the solicitation of applications to competitively award cooperative agreements for pilot projects that improve the program integrity and program access of

credit:


the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program.

Cooperative agreements, awarded under this Funding Opportunity Announcement, will support activities designed to reduce improper payments, improve administrative efficiency, and protect and improve program access for eligible beneficiaries of the TANF program.Successful applicants will be required to design and conduct evaluations of their pilot projects, with federal involvement and oversight of the proposed research methodologies to ensure that evaluations are relevant to the pilot projects and of interest to broader State and Federal efforts around TANF program integrity.
