Through this announcement, the Administration for Children and Families solicits applications from public or private non-profit organizations, including community-based and faith-based organizations, or for-profit organizations that wish to compete for funds that are available to provide Head Start and/or
credit:
Early Head Start services to children and families residing in Counties within the state of Mississippi.
Specifically, the available Mississippi Counties are Alcorn, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Claiborne, Franklin, Hancock, Hinds, Itawamba, Lauderdale, Lee, Leflore, Lincoln, Monroe, Neshoba, Pearl River, Perry, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Scott, Tippah, Tishomingo, Union, Warren, Winston, Yalobusha, and Yazoo.
Funds in the amount of $43,560,479 annually will be available to provide Head Start and/or Early Head Start program services to eligible children and their families.
