The Ready Reserve Grant is awarded to nonprofit entities to enhance firefighter competencies.
To improve capabilities and qualifications of Rural Fire Departments to respond to initial attack and extended attack wildfires that are burning or threatening public lands and the adjacent communities that abut public lands.
