The Native American/Native Hawaiian Museum Services (NANH) program supports Indian tribes and organizations that primarily serve and represent Native Hawaiians.

These grants are intended to provide opportunities to sustain heritage, culture, and knowledge through strengthened activities in areas

Eligible applicants are federally recognized Indian tribes, Alaskan Native Villages and corporations, and, organizations that primarily serve and represent Native Hawaiians.

Entities such as museums, libraries, schools, tribal colleges, or departments of education are not eligible applicants, although they may be involved in the administration of the projects and their staff may serve as project directors, in partnership with eligible applicants.
