Diversity Roadshow

Through this NOFO, PDS aims to strengthen people-to-people ties by sensitizing students towards inclusion of minorities by exposure to their arts and culture.

This will lead to a more inclusive society where freedom of religion, overall acceptance and greater tolerance exists, and communal violence

and discrimination of all sorts are reduced.

The grantee will share the information on the diversity and inclusion clubs formed within a year of this program.

The goal is to start conversations around the topic of diversity and inclusion and ensure the formation of D&I Clubs at school level.

Our primary audience will be high school students from various schools in North India.

These students come from middle to upper middle class, from liberal and conservative family backgrounds.

The grantee will target schools that have a mix of students from a range of religious and ethnic backgrounds.

Given that our audience will be a mix of students from different belief systems, we would like to rely on peer-to-peer behavior change.

If students and their peers are exposed to diverse groups through arts and culture, then they will become more sensitive toward minorities, leading to a more inclusive and tolerant society.
