Trail Maintenance Interns- APIS

Student work crew will complete high priority trail maintenance within Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.

The conservation crew will be working on trail projects on a number of locations, including completing a floating boardwalk on Long Island and clearing 8-10 miles of trail in the National


Lakeshore.

The principal purpose of the project is to support the Government's objective to provide opportunities for youth to learn about the environment by spending time working on project in National Parks.

The NPS receives the indirect benefit of completing conservation projects.

The conservation crew will be working on trail projects on a number of locations, including completing a floating boardwalk on Land Island and clearing approximately 8-10 miles of trail in the National Lakeshore.
