BJA FY 23 Strengthening the Medical Examiner-Coroner System Program
OJP is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and racial equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety and protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement
and the community.
With this solicitation, BJA seeks proposals to strengthen the ME/C system in the United States.
Specifically, through this program, BJA will award funding for:
Forensic pathology fellowships, up to two per application Resources necessary for ME/C offices to achieve and maintain accreditation.

Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; ii.
Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; and iii.
International Organizations.
International multilateral organizations, such as United Nations agencies, should not submit proposals through Grants.gov in response to this Notice of Funding Opportunity announcement.
Multilateral organizations that are seeking funding for programs relevant to this announcement should contact the PRM Program Officer (as listed below) on or before the closing date of the funding announcement.
