OE is seeking pre-proposals and full proposals to support its mission, consistent with NOAA's Strategic Plan (http:// www.nrc.noaa.gov), to further ocean science education and ocean literacy.

It is anticipated that a total of approximately $300,000 will be available through this Ocean Exploration Education announcement.

Only ocean education proposals will be funded, any other kind of project will not be reviewed.

Applicants are encouraged to visit the Ocean Explorer Web site (http://www.oceanexplorer.noaa.gov) to familiarize themselves with past and present OE-funded activities.
