Fossil, Fishing Y Familia

This project will fund an intern to develop and lead three to five recreational adventure days for diverse, underserved, multigenerational Latino audiences.

For each trip, up to 20 participants will hike and picnic at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, youth will complete the Junior Ranger


program, participants will also search for fossils at a partner quarry site, and lastly go fishing at Eleven Mile State Park.
