Ethiopia Comprehensive HIV AIDS Treatement Care and Support Program

The overall goal of this program is to mitigate the impacts of HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia and improve quality of life of PLHIV, their families and the community through sustainable, comprehensive and coordinated evidence based interventions.

The award(s) to be issued for this new program will support


the national, regional and local level responses addressing HIV/AIDS treatment, care and support activities at the health facilities and community levels in Ethiopia.

The intention of this Request for Application (RFA) is to realign and continue to support national, regional and local responses in Amhara, Tigray, Oromia, Southern Nations Nationalities People’s Regions (SNNPR) and Addis Ababa, through up to four awards:
award I - to cover Amhara and Tigray regions; award II - to cover Oromia and national level activities including coordination with Global Fund; award III - to cover SNNPR and Addis Ababa and award IV - to cover preventive care package which is a national program.

Subject to availability of funds, USAID intends to provide approximately $126,000,000 in total USAID funding to be allocated over the five years periods.
