Data Coordinating Center for Approaches to Identifying Preteen Suicide Risk and Protective Factors (U24 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The goal of this initiative is to support research designed to develop models of pre-teen suicide that a.) explain risk states that transition to risk behaviors, including self-harm and suicide attempts; b.) identify protective factors that could be developed/enhanced to change the risk trajectory, both


proximal and distal; and c.) identify intervention targets and timing, as well as scalable assessment approaches that have clinical utility for characterizing both risk/protective factors and suicide risk status and outcomes.
