to promote a shared understanding of civic engagement and participatory governance principles through innovative programming that provides university-level scholarships, internship opportunities, and service-learning activities at U.S.-accredited institutions of higher learning based in the MENA region.

The primary objective of the Tomorrow's Leaders (TL) scholarship program is to build a cadre of university-age leaders who are civic-minded, intellectually able, and professionally skilled, who will become the community, business, and national leaders of the future.

The program intends to nurture leadership skills and the spirit of civic engagement and volunteerism among outstanding students at U. S. accredited institutions of higher learning based in the MENA region.

Each year, TL funds approximately 55 scholarships for underserved and qualified students at select U.S.-accredited universities in the MENA region (currently Lebanon).

As part of the TL program, approximately 25 qualified students are afforded the opportunity to conduct one semester of studies at U. S. universities each fall and spring semester.

This solicitation will enhance TL Study Abroad Oversight, Monitoring, and Support by:
a) providing oversight, monitoring, and support to students studying in the United States, b) analyzing, assessing, and making recommendations for improvements to the study abroad component of the TL program, and c) liaising with TL undergraduate scholarship program implementers.
