Notice of Intent for Project to Combat Child Labor In Cambodia

This is a Notice of Intent only.

The U. S. Department of Labor (USDOL), Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), intends to award, through a competitive and merit-based process, one or more cooperative agreements to organizations to implement projects that aim to reduce child labor through

credit:


educational and training opportunities for target children and to promote sustainable livelihoods for their households.

USDOL/ILAB intends to obligate up to $10 million for project(s) to reduce child labor in Cambodia.

Projects to be funded in the forthcoming solicitation(s) will address the following strategic areas:
1) Education, 2) Livelihoods, 3) Social Protection, 4) Youth Employment, 5) Strengthening Institutional Capacity and Policies, 6) Raising Awareness, and/or 7) Supporting Research, Evaluation and Collection of Reliable Data on Child Labor.

Interested applicants should monitor www.grants.gov for SGA # 12-08 to be posted on August 3, 201 2.
