FY 2008 Food Stamp Outreach Program

Eligibile applicants are invited to compete for a 2008 Food Stamp Outreach Grant.

The Food and Nutrition Service, of USDA has at least $1 million, contingent upon availability of FY08 appropriated funds.

The purpose of the FY 2008 grant is to implement and learn more about effective strategies


to inform and educate potentially eligible low income seniors and Hispanic persons, who are not currently participating in the Food Stamp Program (FSP), about the nutrition benefits of the program, eligibility rules, and how to apply.
