Notice of Funding Opportunity SummaryThe Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC), operating through the Risk Management Agency (RMA), announces its intent to award up to $2 million to fund the Risk Management Education Partnership Program.
The cooperative agreements will be awarded on a competitive basis up to twelve (12) months from the date of the award.Key DatesApplicants must submit their applications electronically via Results Verification System (RVS) https://rvs.umn.edu/Home.aspx, by 5:00 pm Eastern Time (ET) on April 24, 2023, 61 calendar days from date of publications in Grants.gov.
Questions regarding this notice of funding opportunity (NFO) may be submitted until March 17, 202 3. Responses to questions posed will be posted on Grants.gov approximately two weeks before the application due date.
A tutorial on how to apply is available at http://rvs.umn.edu/rmaresourcesThe agency anticipates making selections by June 2023 and expects to execute awards no later than September 30, 202 3. This MURI competition is open only to, and proposals are to be submitted only by, U. S. institutions of higher education (universities) with degree-granting programs in science and/or engineering, including DoD institutions of higher education.
To the extent that it is part of a U. S. institution of higher education and is not designated as a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC), a University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) is eligible to submit a proposal to this MURI competition and/or receive MURI funds.
Ineligible organizations (e.g., industry, DoD laboratories, FFRDCs, and foreign entities) may collaborate on the research but may not receive MURI funds directly or via subaward.
