Title:
Endangered Species Act Bat Surveys for Fort Carson and Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site in Colorado REFER TO RSOI Package for complete details.
Description of Anticipated Work:
The purpose of these continuing surveys is to locate maternity colonies and hibernacula of the three species on both Fort Carson and the PCMS, to better inform future management and ensure compliance with the ESA should these species be listed.
Surveys and sampling will also help to track the health of species by determining whether bats on Fort Carson are infected with WNS.
Period of Performance:
The Base and Follow-On Periods will each be 18 months from the date of award.
Follow-on Periods are subject to availability of funding.
