Navajo Nation Oil and Gas Inspections

This agreement establishes and defines joint responsibilities and reporting procedures for improving and coordinationg the oil and gas inspection program by providing mutual support for oil and gas lease compliance on the Nation's lands.

The agreement also establishes procedures for cooperation

and coordination in planning and programming for oil and gas inspectioins of Nation leases with a goal of increasing the frequency of inspections providing for the uniform application of regulations, and timely communications between the BLM and the Navajo Nation in the performance of their regulatory functions.
