Fiscal Year 2010 Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Grant Program

The Fiscal Year 2010 EOC Grant Program improves emergency management and preparedness capabilities by supporting flexible, sustainable, secure, and interoperable EOCs and by addressing identified needs and deficiencies.

Funds for the Fiscal Year 2010 EOC Grant Program are appropriated under the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2010 (Public Law 111-83).

Funding in the amount of $60,000,000 is available for grants for construction or renovation of a State, local, or tribal government’s principal EOCs.

Of this amount, $47,442,500 has been set aside, as non-competitive funding, for key EOC projects throughout the Nation.

The remaining funds shall be allocated competitively to eligible applicants following a State and National review of the Investment Justifications.

This grant program is not intended to fund the construction or renovation of State, local, or tribal Fusion Centers.
