Pesticide Safety Resource Projects

The Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) is soliciting applications from eligible parties for an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) cooperative agreement to provide financial assistance to an eligible organization to carry out projects.

The selected recipient will coordinate the development of

credit:


resources for use by EPA’s “partners” (i.e., state, tribal, and territorial pesticide regulatory agencies and university-based extension pesticide safety education programs) and “stakeholders” (e.g., healthcare professionals, nonprofit and professional organizations, associations and others) involved in pesticide safety.

Resources are educational and outreach pieces that include, but are not limited to, printed, electronic or computer-based.

All resources will be developed with the involvement of subject matter experts (SMEs).

EPA partners and stakeholders will use the resources to advance the protection of humans, ecosystems and the environment from the risk of pesticide poisonings, illness and injury.
