FY10 Railroad-Highway Grade Crossing Mitigation,ICC

The Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) will utilize funds for the Rail Line Relocation Program to provide grants to communities in Illinois that have been impacted by the Canadian National Railway Company (CN) acquisition of the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railway (EJE).

The grants will mitigate

the negative consequences of the acquisition due to increased train traffic on the EJE lines.
