Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) Competitive Grants under the Affordable Care Act (ACA)

applications from local organizations and entities, including faith-based organizations or consotia, for the development and implementation of the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) in Florida, Indiana, North Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Guam, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, the Marshall Islands and Palau.

The purpose of this program is to support projects that educate youth, between the ages of 10 and 19, and pregnant and parenting youth, under age 21, on abstinence and contraception for the prevention of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV/AIDS.

Successful applicants will provide programming on at least three of six adulthood preparation subjects that will be discussed in the published funding opportunity announcement.
