Identify Species Vulnerable to Climate Change at Acadia National Park

This is NOT a request for applications; this is an announcement that an award has already been designated to SERC Institute for their work in identifying species vulnerable to climate change at Acadia National Park.

In addition to the draft reports and final submission, the Cooperator will:

1. Develop and communicate stories describing local impacts of climate change on well-known species in Acadia National Park.

2. Develop three stories, in the form of narratives in written articles and public presentations, describing local impacts of climate on well-known species.

These stories will be appropriate to be translated to other forms for inclusion on the website, exhibits, and ranger-led programs.

3. Provide three stories and links to at least four significant sources of historical data on the SERC Institute website.

4. Develop citizen science programs, with standard written protocols, designed to monitor species vulnerable to climate change and communicate climate change impacts to participants.
