The United States Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) is pleased to announce that it is seeking applications for the Tribal Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalitions Program and the Special Tribal Sexual Assault Coalition Program.

mission by building the capacity of survivors, advocates, Indian women's organizations, and victim service providers to form nonprofit, nongovernmental Tribal domestic violence and sexual assault coalitions to advance the goal of ending violence against American Indian and Alaska Native women.

If applying as a bona fide agent of a state or local government, a letter from the state or local government as documentation of the status is required.
