Trail maintenance/rehabilitation of the Chimney Tops Trail located in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service (NPS), intention to fund the following project activities without competition.

This project is a cooperative endeavor between NPS and American Conservation


Experience for the trail maintenance rehabilitation of the Chimney Tops Trail located in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Project work will include, but is not limited to the following replacement of damaged waterbars, removal of trail sloughing, major trail corridor brushing, turnpiking of wet areas, rock boulder removal from trail corridor, tree removal, and repair of trail treadway damage.
