Toroweap Ranger Station CLI/CLR

The project will assist Grand Canyon National Park in documentation and evaluation of the 1935 Toroweap Ranger Station.

This effort will include a Cultural Landscape Inventory (CLI) and accompanying Cultural Landscape Report (CLR), and updated National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) information

on the buildings and their immediate associated landscape.

The CLI and CLR will dovetail with the IMR cultural landscapes program, matching resource boundaries, inventories, and significance statements to provide a comprehensive set of resource documentation for the park.

The work will be conducted by James Steely, who is familiar with GRCAâ¿¿s North Rim and who has conducted numerous historic resource evaluations for GRCA in the recent past.
