Seabird Surveys and Outreach in Resurrection Bay

This project will extend monthly seabird surveys documenting species and number in Resurrection Bay into the coastline of Kenai Fjords National Park; these surveys are the only year-round monthly surveys occurring in the entire State of Alaska for seabirds.

Public outreach efforts focusing on


seabird stewardships such as the annual Seward Seabird Festival will also be supported.
