Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund 2025

The U. S. Mission to Kazakhstan announces an open competition for past participants (“alumni”) of U. S. government-funded and U. S. government-sponsored exchange programs to submit applications for the 2025 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF 2025).

We seek proposals from teams

of at least two alumni that meet all program eligibility requirements below.

This initiative aims to strengthen alumni-led efforts in empowering youth through skill-building and fostering creativity to promote a more engaged and resilient civil society in Kazakhstan.

By leveraging innovative approaches and collaborative solutions, projects will equip local communities to address key societal challenges and drive positive change.

Projects should be implemented in 2025-2026 and are expected to take 6-12 months to complete and achieve the defined goals.

Activities will take place across various rural and urban regions of Kazakhstan, focusing on areas most affected by these challenges.

By the end of the program, we aim to see measurable improvements in engagement, inclusive leadership, and community-driven solutions, ultimately contributing to a more connected and resilient society.
